1. RECRUITMENT OF ASSISTANT MANAGER (TERRITORY) – SCALE I OFFICERS

Total Vacancies: 650 (Expected in 2017)

Eligibility criteria:

  • Age:  20 – 30 yrs
  • Education: The candidates must have completed graduation degree.

The relaxation in upper age limit will be provided to certain limits for reserved categories.

ST/SC: 5 Years
OBC: 3 Years
PwD: 10 Years

Original Domiciles of Kashmir, 1984 Riot Affected People and EX-Servicemen (Other Military Persons): 5 Years

Selection procedure:

  1. Preliminary Examination (Objective Type – 100 Marks)
  2. Main Examination (Objective Type – 200 Marks)
  3. Interview (100 Marks)

Note:

  1. There is a penalty of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.
  1. Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing passing marks to be decided by the Bank. An adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by IPPB depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for the Online Main Examination.
  1. Prelim examination is qualifying in nature. Marks obtained in Prelims examination will not be counted in the preparation of the final merit list.

Note:

  1. Marks obtained only in the mains examination will be considered for shortlisting for interview. Depending on the number of vacancies available, cut-offs will be decided and candidates will be shortlisted for interview. Prior to the completion of the interview process, scores obtained in the online Main examination will not be shared with the candidates shortlisted for interview.

 

  • Personal Interview
  1. Candidates who have been shortlisted in the main examination for CWE PO/MT will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by IPPB.
  1. The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates). The weightage (ratio) of Main exam and interview will be 80:20 respectively.
  1. The combined final score of candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in the Main Examination and Interview. Interview score of the candidates failing to secure minimum qualifying marks or otherwise barred from the interview or further process shall not be disclosed.

 

Final Selection:

A candidate should qualify both in the Main Examination and interview and be sufficiently high in the merit to be shortlisted for subsequent provisional allotment process, details of which will be made available subsequently on IPPB website.

Key Points:

  1. Age as on date specified in the notification.  Relaxation in age for reserved categories as per rules.
  2. Application, fee payment and examination are online.
  3. Application Fee – Rs. 150/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates & Rs. 700/- for all others.
  4. All papers will be in both languages (Hindi & English) except the test of language i.e. English
  5. There will be a penalty of ¼ marks for each wrong answer in prelim and mains examination both.
  6. Prelim examination is qualifying in nature. Marks obtained in Prelims examination will not be counted in the preparation of the final merit list.
  7. Marks obtained only in the main examination will be considered for shortlisting for interview and final merit list will be prepared by getting a combined score of mains examination and interview.
  8. A candidate should qualify both in the Main examination and interview and be sufficiently high in the merit to be shortlisted for subsequent provisional allotment process.
