RBI Grade B 2018 Prelims Exam Analysis

The exam was of moderate to difficult level. There are 4 Sections in RBI Grade-B 2018 Phase-1 exam namely English, Reasoning, General Awareness and Quantitative Aptitude.

Exam Analysis: Quantitative Aptitude

The level was moderate. There were three sets of DI – One was a Tabular-Pie-Chart Combination and the other was a Missing Tabular DI. One Caselet based DI was also asked in the exam. The questions asked were:-

The level of English Language was moderate to difficult. There were two sets of RC in which one was based on a passage related ATM and Vendor Services.

The level of reasoning was Moderate – Difficult. There were 5 puzzles and sitting Arrangement based on the following pattern: Circular Seating Arrangement, Month based puzzle etc. The questions were:-

Exam Analysis: General Awareness

General Awareness had 80 questions for 80 marks. This section is moderate for those who know banking terms and were well versed with static awareness. Around 7 to 8 questions covered the static awareness portion and most of the questions were from the current affairs of April, May, June and July. There were 18-20 Questions from Banking Awareness.
